  • "Back to school, back to school, to prove to Dad I'm not a fool!"

    I love my classes. I think I'm going to learn a lot! However, it's going to be a TOUGH semester. I have six classes right now. Debating on dropping one, but it is probably my very favorite class. We have to BLOG for it! Fun, huh? But it's for the communications minor and I'm not even sure if I want a communications minor anymore. Oh well!

    I guess I'm going to have to channel my inner nerd. You know, the one I left back in high school when I was motivated and actually lived up to about half of my potential? Yeah, that one.

    This time I will have to be a nerd AND apply myself to get good grades.

    It's so frustrating. I know I'm smart enough to get all A's. I just know that. The Lord was kind enough to bless me with a really decent amount of intelligence. I learn quickly, I retain easily, and I'm a good test taker. However, I'm lazy and I'd rather sit on the couch with my Jeremy and watch TV than read my textbooks. But this semester I am determined to make the grades I know I'm capable of.

    So now I'm off to read about tourism and geography until I fall asleep!

    "I've got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight! I hope I don't get in a fight! Ohhhh! Back to school!"
